HONDURAS SPANISH SCHOOL (Utila)

HONDURAS SPANISH SCHOOL (HOSS) with locations in the cities of TEGUCIGALPA, LA CEIBA and UTILA ISLAND– is a Spanish Language Immersion with our main school located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Central America with branches schools in the north coast city of La Ceiba and the Bay Island of Utila. Spanish is taught on a one on one student-teacher ratio, focusing in conversation practice, grammar, and readings. We work on a weekly basis, 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, morning and afternoon schedules. All our teachers are certified and must pass an entrance exam in order to work in our school. They are university graduates, with years of experience and some of them are bilingual for those at the very beginning level.
Students have the opportunity of living with a local Spanish speaking family while attending school in Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba in order to be fully immersed in the language. Each student will have a private room and bathroom and 3 meals per day are provided, except on Sundays. Students are met at the airport, ferry boat or bus station by the owners of the school and taken you directly to your homestay to get to know your local family and start living and discovering the friendly and accommodating Latin culture and customs. Our host families are located in the same upper-middle-class neighborhood where our school is located. WiFi is available.
