The Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is a pioneer language institute specialised in teaching Arabic as a foreign language to adults and children.
Since its establishment in 1980 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, The Arabic Language Centre has welcomed thousands of enthusiastic learners from all around the world. ALC uses a unique method of instruction that has been tested and proven effective by our students’ ability to communicate confidently upon the completion of the courses. Our classes are delivered using an interactive, communicative and student-centered approach that makes learning Arabic fun and effective. We follow a level-based curriculum that aims to transit students from the Beginners through to the Advanced levels.
ALC is located in Sheikh Rashid Tower, the Dubai World Trade Centre Complex. The complex consists of several facilities, including the DWTC Metro station, international exhibition halls, business lounge, furnished apartments and two hotels with their own facilities, restaurants, cafes, and pubs, and a good number of service and retail shops (banks and ATMs, printing services, jewelry and gift shops, travel agent, rent a car, post office, currency exchange and others).
Our Arabic for Adults classes cater to the language needs of non-Arabic speaking adults interacting with Arabic speakers. The classes teach everyday Arabic in real-life business and social contexts. Classes are held throughout the year in regular and intensive course structures.
Our Arabic for Children classes aim to enhance the communicative skills of our child audience and offer academic support needed to fulfill their language requirements. Classes are throughout the year on Saturdays and during term-based camps.
The Arabic Language Centre does not provide or arrange for student accommodation. However, the school has agreements for special student rates with DWTC-based hotels (IBIS and NOVOTEL) which are within close proximity to ALC.
Prices are not inclusive of VAT. Minimum enrolment is required to run public classes.
