Germany, Meersburg
Humboldt Institut Meersburg
Meersburg was named after the town’s impressive 1,400-year old fortress, the oldest one in Germany that is still in use. The picturesque little town with a population of about 5,600 people is located on the shores of Lake Constance. Surrounded by orchards and vineyards, it offers a marvelous view of the imposing peaks of the Swiss and Austrian Alps. But it is not only the romantic region that makes this course center so popular with our students.
Our German courses in Meersburg are held in the JUFA Meersburg and the immediate surroundings. The convenient location of the school in the middle of the historic downtown area of Meersburg makes it very attractive to our students, as right after their classes they can enjoy the lively atmosphere of the pedestrian zone of this beautiful town.
